Alive
03:24
|
|||
It’s so hard to say goodbye knowing that you’re still alive I guess that I just have to try even though I’d rather die.
If you could look me in the eyes and tell me how to live my life, please forgive me if I try it’s only love so please don’t cry.
Out in the distance there’s a light. It drags me out of endless nights. You’d always pull me off the ground. Troubles disappear when you’re around.
My mind can’t fully comprehend, what happened then, is this the end? I thought you were heaven sent I realise I’m not a saint.
I know I’m not the one to blame that doesn’t make me less insane. Will I loose you will you stay, can’t it wait untill another day?
Out in the distance there’s a light. It drags me out of endless nights. You’d always pull me off the ground. Troubles disappear when you’re around.
All of a sudden you’re so far away, I can’t remember yesterday, and the feeling is gone again.
You’re eyes are open but your mind is closed. What goes on behind your smile? Please tell me what went wrong.

What You've Become
03:37
|
|||
By the time you read the letter I’ve sent, I’m already gone. You wish that someone else would open it up, but you won’t change it if you could. There’s a change in the air, but you are unaware.
There’s a portal in your backseat, but you won’t look over your shoulder.
You’ve grown so tired of the old news, and all the years spent alone.
There’s a change in the air, but you are unaware.
Forever listening to prayers that will be silent for centuries to come.
You stumble back into your old wars, that kept you awake in all these years, these years.
And when you think about your future, and all the things you could have done.
You wish that someone would have told you, you just won’t get another chance.
But the razor in your hand is the friend you never had.
You lie beside me on the sidewalk, your neck is broken and your body torn apart.
If you could hear the birds above us, their song so beautiful they know what you’ve become, become.

This Far
03:33
|
|||
The hour’s late, the moon is up, we drive along the road. We see a sign we kept in mind, not so long ago. It’s way too late to try to find another way. We pass the old bridge which I used to cross when I was a child. The wood is rotten, I see maggots crawling out from inside. Now I remember what that bridge had to divide.
But it’s OK my dear, I’ll take the wheel from here. You can’t see the road now that your eyes are full of tears. And if you want me to, I’ll take the blame for you, it’s not a problem if you just tell me the truth.
As we go further down the road we see a storm coming in. The air is thick you’re moving close now I can feel your skin, the world around us seems a thousand miles away.
The engine stops I turn to see if we are out of gas, we should prepare to spend the night out here with all the rats, it makes me wonder how we ever got this far.
But it’s OK my dear, I’ll take the wheel from here. You can’t see the road now that your eyes are full of tears. And if you want me to, I’ll take the blame for you, it’s not a problem if you just tell me the truth.

In My Arms
04:39
|
|||
This old machine won’t work, it’s been dying since I came riding into town.
I got the letter, in which a thousand people talked about the sounds.
Now I’ve been summoned here to take a look at you my friend. These noises that you make a quite absurd. I won’t let you die in my arms.
The gear is rusty now the oil is leaking from the bottum of your skull.
Your scream intensifies, I realise I can’t prevent you from the fall.
The people of this town cannot afford to loose the spine, and I am trying all I can to help oh yeah.
I won’t let you die in my arms.
The people of this town soon have to face, no one else could ever take your place.

Featherless Creatures
04:05
|
|||
The peasants are eager as ants can’t you see they are trying to get in your pants, if you walk too slowly or talk too low, the hair on your head will fall off just like leafs from the trees, and the bees will fly off into the air but you don’t care, you don’t feel nothing at all. The walls have climbed up from behind if you don’t mind then let me take your coat.
Now the trees are gathering on the hills down south, they are moving with the wind, on the reefs your name was written a thousand time, and the raindrops fill the air don’t you think that I care?
The birds are featherless creatures now that you’re gone, I threw one of them into the air, its blood is covering the floor and the door is opening towards me instead of out, I shout I shout, did you answer by chance?
The true meaning of death is a knock on your head, spit out the trash and cash out the stash.
If your standing, someone else might fall, don’t you try to look so tall. With a laugh the women told me to go home, now I’m truly on my own.
Now the trees are gathering on the hills down south, they are moving with the wind, on the reefs your name was written a thousand time, and the raindrops fill the air don’t you think that I care?
The true meaning of death is a knock on your head, spit out the trash and cash out the stash.

Our Little Game
03:06
|
|||
Unfinished and unappealing, the painting on the wall. The colours on the canvas, resemble nothing at all. The white and empty spaces take part in our little game. The instruments we carry are sharpened by our names.
You aimed to high above my head now let me try on you instead. There’s no one here who can help you out, are you afraid are you in doubt? Are you trying hard enough?
Cought up in a fistfight. Are you far away from here? Together we are shining, apart we disappear.
You give me something I can taste, but you won’t feed me any meat. The road ahead of us is endless, and someone is trying to take your seat.
Any last words my dearest one, before I strike your head upon? I thought you knew me well enough, to not give in and fall in love. I’m sorry that I made you cry.

We Vanish
05:37
|
|||
A passenger on the train of time. Have I gone too far? Sorrow awaits me. I’m wasting my life
Is there a light in the distance? Is there no one at all? We tremble we fall and we vanish. There will be nothing left, apart from water from our eyes. It’s running across the soil. I see the rivers oh they gather. They take us back to when we were young.
I put a stamp on the future. It’s just a kind remark. The struggle is endless. The passenger is gone. But the cancer in our hearts is like a tombstone in itself, it’s groing it’s moving. It doesn’t need nobody else

At the Borders of Malice
04:08
|
|||
The aeroplanes flew overseas to countries far from here. And we lay down underneath imagined we could steer, escaping all this misery.
You looked at me in disbelieve, you looked at me in fear. The mood changed so suddenly as I whispered in your ear. Now you know what I have done. Now you know what I’ve become. I’m telling you we are through, and in the morning I’ll be gone.
At the borders of malice I lie in the shade, now the soldiers are coming to me away. I regret all I told you, I regret all I’ve done, but there’s no resurection of all that is gone.
They are gathering around me, their faces unclear. They are pulling me upwards towards all I fear.
Are you willing to take me back again? Release me, release me from this pain.

Buried in the Sand
04:46
|
|||
Locked inside walls. Buried in the sand. Imagine a dawn, remember the hands that hold you down.
The desert is awake, you’re sensing the eyes. The sleepless nights are killing you, and the black in your eyes are like big holes in the sky. For a while for a while you remember who you are, momentarily awake you fix your eyes upon the stars.
In these times in these times there’s a mad man on the door, he is shooting up the lines that should have brought us back in time.

The Fall
05:47
|
|||
There’s nothing left of me, my bones are there for you to see, the light beside my bed is burning still.
Please turn away, don’t look at me, my smile is imitating the forgotten act of honor, but my palms are open wide. You may see me on the bus, you may see me on the cross, you may see me lying down with you and then see me waking up. There’s a war between the ocean and the birds flying above. How I like to see them fighting while I’m waiting for my love.
I chose a path to walk alone, I will wear nothing but my bones. The chance of hitting the nail.
The symetry my life just lost, could easily be what i thought whould take me somewhere else abroad not to the sea. You tare me up inside, I know now you where right. You left me for a reason, now I’m asking you to cry.

The Joys of Spring
02:26
|
|||
The fall is moving clos I feel it’s coming in. It seems so far away the joys of spring. The darkness clouds my mind it’s getting hard to see. The leefs are falling down from all the trees. So momentary yet so everlasting. I’ll wait for next year to begin. We had an arguement but there was nothing we could say. That moment had to come around. The words just flew around like daggers in the air. What made you think I didn’t care? That moment lingers deep within my mind. Will it be there ’til I go blind?
